The Light of Tomorrow Part 6

Author’s note:

Today’s my birthday and wish me a happy birthday!

At the hospital, the four goes to the receptionist and one of them ask for Diana Martinez and the receptionist said that Diana is in surgery and they’ll have to wait.

3 hours later and the doctor walks out of surgery and walks towards them with a serious and tired expression.

The four got up and Lisa asked how’s Diana and the doctor said that Diana is in stable condition but in a coma.

Lisa tears and sat down and Charlotte wraps her arms Lisa.

The four wraps their arms around them for comfort and Lisa gets up and goes to Diana’s hospital room and sees Diana in a coma and her heart breaks for her.

Lisa sat down next to her and holds Diana’s hand and said in a soft voice, “I’m here Diana and I’m not going anywhere.”

Lisa broke down crying and lays her head on Diana’s chest and hears her heartbeat.

Lisa leans in and is about to kiss Diana and Charlotte walks in and Lisa pulls away quickly.

Charlotte said that is everything and Lisa nods her head yes, while staring at Diana’s face and hair.

The next day

Milo is at his room and rethinking about the situation with Erica yesterday and he doesn’t why Nick would slap her and feels bad for her and wants to know if she’s okay.

Milo grabbed his hat and car keys and left the house and drove to the same park where he met Erica.

Milo parks his car and gets out to look for her but doesn’t see her until he hears a voice and he turns around and sees Erica with an hurt and sad expression on her face.

Milo walks towards her and asked if she was okay and Erica doesn’t say anything but shakes her head no and cries onto Milo is surprised by the hug and he hugged her.

Erica feels comfortable with him and it’s the first time that she been hugged by a guy.

They ended up talking and exchanging numbers before departing.

Meanwhile

Lisa goes to visit Diana at the hospital and sees Diana looking a bit weak and pale and Lisa goes to sit next to her and holds her hand to comfort Diana.

Lisa sighs and closes her eyes and remembers the good memories she had with Diana before crying softly and a doctor walks in and Lisa quickly wipes her tears and stands up.

The doctor said that Diana is slightly improvingĀ  but she’ll need to stay for a while until her condition gets better and Lisa sighs in relief and thanked the doctor.

Lisa sat back down and looks at Diana and closes her eyes and kissed Diana’s cheek and Lisa smiles.

Diana stirs before waking up and Lisa gasp in excitement and said “Diana?”

Diana blinks a few times and turns her head slowly towards Lisa with a confused and tired expression and Diana’s eyes are analyzing Lisa, almost trying to recognize her.

Lisa ensures her that she’s a friend and she’s no harm to Diana.

Diana calms down a little but is starting to trust Lisa and weakly smiles at her and spoke, “Hi”

Lisa smiles and chuckles and said hi back and they both shared a heartwarming conversation with each other until Lisa wants to confess Diana that she has feelings for her and Diana’s eyes widened in shock.

Lisa turns her head away from Diana and Diana hold her hand and said to her, “I know and you’ve been super supportive and always been there for me.”

Lisa’s eyes meet with Diana’s before leaning in and kissing her and they both smiled at each other.

The next morning

Diana is supposed to appear her court date but the court invites her due video call and Lisa is there to support her and once it started the both girl’s heartbeat with nervousness and fear and Lisa keeps the others updated.

The court goes on for a while and Lisa is fighting for her and 2 hours later and the jury comes back with the verdict and found Diana not guilty.

Lisa scream in excitement and Diana broke into tears and they both hugged that Diana is going home.

The judge smiles and he apologizes to Diana for the wrongfully conviction andĀ  she can request for a settlement, which she can.

Diana thinks about it for a moment and looks at Lisa and Lisa says, “it’s up to you babe” Diana smiles and nods her head.
